Secondary school students as research colleagues
The Association for Youth, Science and Technology is a non-governmental, non-profit which brings together 3,500 registered members working in various scientific disciplines. AMAVET (Asociace pro mládež, vědu a techniku) plays an important role in conjunction with schools and school institutions, in expanding the mindset of young people through informal education, which is becoming a valuable part of a whole life education. The Committee of AMAVET chose the ten best student projects April 9–10, 2009 at the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic.
