Evaluation and Impact Assessment of European Framework Programmes for Research and Development
The event, held in Brussels in December 3, 2008, focused on presentations and discussions regarding the issues of methodology for evaluation and impact assessment studies. It provided an overall synthesis, presentin a global view of what has been achieved by FPs. The workshop included a Commission’s presentation of its organization and evaluation strategy, contributions from experts in public policy evaluation, a presentation of existing studies and approa¬ches at the levels of EU institutions and member states. Attention was also paid to training on how to implement the outcome of an evaluation.
