CERGE-EI and Prof. Jan Švejnar have launched a new project called Institute for Democracy and Economic Analysis (IDEA), a modern and politically independent think-tank that aims to cultivate and upgrade the level of economic debates in this country. One of the first public activities of IDEA was a seminar entitled Unemployment and Economic Outlook for the Czech Republic and Europe that took place on December 14, 2009.
