Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic and the Presidency of the EU Council
The Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic has been participating in the preparation of the Czech presidency of the EU Council since 2007. One of the most important priorities for AS CR is the European Research Activity, focusing on research infrastructures and removing barriers to researches’ mobility within the EU. For the Academy will be one of major challenges to organize the European Future Technologies Conference (FET09), a new European forum dedicated to frontier research in future and emerging information technologies.
