According to a member of the Academy Council of the ASCR Jan Palouš the European Union suffers from lack of researchers: “The Czech Republic will suffer from lack of qualified researchers as well, especially due to emerging new research infrastructures as BIOCEV, ELI, CEITEC or Supercomputer Centre, which will be relaying on sufficiency of foreign high-skilled scientists.” In 2011, EURAXESS Czech Republic provided personal assistance to 583 foreign researches.
