The Centre of Excellence Telč (a project of the Institute of Theoretical and Applied Mechanics of the ASCR) was festively opened on October 9, 2012. The venture is being implemented with financial support from the European Union and the Czech Republic through the structural funds and the state budget. The CET project was intended primarily to contribute to the development of Czech and European science by building a European center of excellence. It is an advanced research center with a unique research program and international reputation, especially in the field of cultural heritage.
