International Oral History Association and the Czech Oral History Association jointly sponsored a conference, Between Past and Future: Oral History, Memory and Meaning, held in Prague from 7 to 11 July, 2010. Oral history is a growing specialty within the field of history: new methods, technologies and approaches as well as innovative perspectives and areas of research place it among the discipline’s most dynamic specializations. It was the first time that the IOHA met in Prague.
