General Secretariat of the Council
The General Secretariat of the Council’s role is to provide the intellectual and practical infrastructure for the Council at four levels: working party, Representatives Committee, Council of Ministers and the European Council. It carries out the practical preparation for meetings and drafts reports, notes, minutes and records and prepares draft agendas. It provides continuity in Council proceedings and has custody of Council archives and actions.
